A second generation Asian-American, Hope grew
up
as a refugee living in the states. Though there
were
different struggles growing up--just like any other family--there was a plan for her life that was already God-ordained. Growing up, Hope learned the basics of playing the keyboard and learned to play the violin in a group setting. Most recently, Hope has been learning how to play the guitar and songwriting. Even though Hope is somewhat musically inclined, she does not claim to be the best at any instrument or one of the best vocalists around. Hope's main goal is to minister to people through music and testimony to further the Lord's kingdom--fulfilling the Great Commission. Many have given great feedback on her songs--but most importantly it is the way that her lyrics are articulated to convey a heartfelt message that makes her music real to her audiences, young and old. Esther 4:14 is a key passage for her ministry because, like Esther, we are all being prepared, broken, molded to be whom we are called to be. We have the ability to share the free gift of salvation---it is up to us to decide if we are willing to step out and do our part. Many thanks in advance for your support of her ministry. We hope that you will be blessed, challenged and encouraged. May the Lord Bless you and keep you.
